RJ’s Real Dance Party |
RJ & Dick Clark |
RJ’s Dance Show Parody |
RJ now does a weekly radio show on Cruisin 92.1 from the Philadelphia area. The show is syndicated on a number of stations around the country. RJ also sustains the reruns of the nostalgic Disco USA TV series, which plays in Philadelphia as well as in other parts of the country. RJ has no regrets. He has taken the twists and turns and the ups and downs of fame. He's the guy that's holding onto yesterday, and as he says on his radio show each week, you can see on this site how true it is. If memories of Ron Joseph (RJ) were worth a penny, RJ and Company would all be billionaires!

In 1962 (R.J.) Ron Joseph introduced Philadelphia’s first commercial UHF station, WPCA-TV Channel 17, with his “Spotlight on America” program and encouraged viewers to purchase UHF TV converters to receive the new station. In 1992 (R.J.) Ron Joseph put on Philadelphia’s first low-power family-oriented TV station and operated it 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It was Channel 7, W07CB TV. It offered Philadelphians local original programming which no other TV station had ever done. RJ’s Disco USA is on Sundays at 4 p.m. on the new Philadelphia digital TV 25 WZBN-TV For digital flat-screen TVs and digital box owners you must first go to TV 50, that is their digital channel that will enable you to get Channel 25. Channel 25 is also viewable on UStream. Go to UStream.tv on your computer, type in WZBN, hit Search, and it will be clear as a bell everywhere in the United States. |

This historic Art Deco building owned by the Philadelphia Bulletin
was the home of WCAU Channel 10’s first studio where RJ did a radio show
called Radio Rangers. He was a child panel member on the show in 1953.
Phil Sheridan hosted the program. What memories they were.
RJ was privileged to meet the greats of early TV: John Facenda,
